The Genesee Valley Children’s Choir was founded in 2010 with the help of a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization program administered by the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts. The group continues to seek grants and contributions so the choir may continue to be offered free of charge or at the very least with only a minimal contributions from singers’ families. The goal is to ensure that all children have the opportunity to this high-quality and culturally-enriching music experience.
